03 TELLR
People have interests, opinions and knowledge—but nowhere to share them in a way that feels real. Long articles get ignored, and “universal” opinions feel empty. The question became: where do you actually find taste and insight from people who think like you? TELLR is a place for toplists. Your favorite records. The restaurants worth the detour. Books you'd actually recommend. Whatever you care enough to rank.
The idea for TELLR was developed by Alexander Girvan, and we worked together to shape and bring the concept to life. I also built the visual foundation of the product through a design system that keeps everything consistent and scalable. The interface is intentionally brutalist and simple, stripping away unnecessary decoration so the content can speak first. TELLR is designed in both dark and light mode to adapt to different contexts, while keeping the same clear identity across both.
The result is a minimal, typographic system where hierarchy and structure replace visual noise.
